Tofu Never Tasted so Good.
Hidden in a dimly lit space on Hyperion is Justin's little secret. (that was also the name of his mom FIFI's shop) The Vietnamese Soy CAFE is a small space with a short menu- but delivers the best company, conversation, and tastes this side of town. The CAFE has healthy interesting items that most PHO places don't offer. There are amazing lemongrass sandwiches as well as super sardine green onion specials. The spicy soup is your best bet- but the lotus seed rice is great with the jicama rolls. Everytime I go- conversations with the owner/chef are delightlful. This time we ran into LAVENDER DIAMOND singer Becky Stark. She was about to chug a C-shot- (-cayenne-organic sugar cane-and lemon) She told us that this concoction has helped make her voice clear as a bell. If you are in L.A. try to find it. The Vietnamese coffee is called 48 hours. They mean stay up all night for two night business over there.

What is this about the blog police taking away your photos? Please explain. I will be reviewing the above restaraunt this week!

we should just carry around the plastic pouches of hot soup from this place to squeeze on people that make you cry.
