While searching one of my friend's blogs I discovered the lovely art of Amy Sillman. Her work is represented by the Saatchi Gallery. Her work seems part organic- romantic cubism- They are suspended in time in some way- and remind me of fashion designs-from the past.
"Amy Sillman’s paintings possess a sweet fragility, their strength derived from their awkward timidity and preciousness. Unfolding as a series of spontaneous developments--Through this free form approach to painting, Sillman develops a painterly dimension where all things become relative and landscapes emerge as emotive terrain."
