Derby DAY!
Luck for us, our friend Kara decided to throw an elaborate Kentucky Derby Party, complete with race ticket invites and a CHUCK WAGON!!
From the minute guests entered her sweet 60's style pad... horse decorations and roses adorned every curve and mantle. 
The best part of all was the info table- detailing all of the racing horses, their owners-trainers etc... and their odds. Each guest was given the option to put their money down on their hunch and try to get lucky. I put my bet on Street Sense and Great Hunter. Mr P. decided to go with the horse no one picked- that was 50-1. Ouch.

Did I mention my horse WON!! that's right ...payday.
From there we took my money to the next party- the HULLABallo SilverLake Music Conservatory party.
this looks like fun...I spied Miz Beth one of my bar regs from the place that shall not be named! Tell her I said hullo...hair be working for you...love love love it!
