Heaven can wait

There is a place on Earth where the stillness of the landscape calms every nerve in your body. Around every corner a faded pastel sunset, wild rabbits and running quail. You can see every single star in the sky so perfectly clear. Pomegranate trees bend across the water, dropping seeds across the sand. Little painted cabins tarnished from the sun decorated with wind chimes and lanterns.
"I could live here" echoes in my mind. I could love it here, someday when I escape the city and surrender to the idea of only making art. It's lawless and slow. Some say that the desert is a mirror to a person's soul. You could disappear out there on a porch swing and wait for something. Imagine lovely lazy days reading books and listening to records. 29 Palms out there in Joshua Tree isn't for working, but getting your relax on. It was all like a dream
