THE SCORPIO SAGA continues...

The list goes on and on- my fellow SCORPIO companions who are celebrating birthdays this month. Can it possibly be that most of the ladies I mingle with are SCORPIOS??
Miss Franny threw a Karaoke Shindig this past Sat. in Lil Toyko. You may recall Mr. P in past rants declaring his hated for the singing sensation. Something irks him about the way it's not really musical- nor inclusive for the party.
Right.
So let's cut to him on stage every single song doing Sinatra, musical theatre or a rock ballad out of his range (Come Sail Away). In fact, he went on stage even when it wasn't his turn and elbowed his way into grabbing the second mike. Bummer for the rest of the party. It may have had something to do with the flask of Scotch he stowed away in my purse?

Alas, when he found out that each song was a DOLLAR- this was his reaction...

*MAY I REMIND YOU at this point he had sang approx. 38 songs!

At this point in the evening, Mr. P had taken over the entire night. So it was only fair for me to get up and sing Billy Joel's BIG SHOT. Except I changed the words to : "Because you had to be a Big shot, didn't you? You had to sing every song in the book..."

Marilena and Britt arrived to witness it all go sour-

Cynthia dedicated "Your SO VAIN" to him, but it didn't even phase him. He just wandered up to the stage to try to sing the "Mick Jagger" parts. When she refused him the second mike- he cracked. The rant that followed was something out of a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode.

This was me right after the rant and while he was taking the stage to perform the AGE of AQUARIUS!

Today is my FLAPPER friend VIV's birthday! She and I have shared countless birthday escapades together. I must call her soon and warn her that a Karaoke party is "not the way to go" if she intends on inviting Mr. P. If you see her today wish her a good one and feel free to buy her lunch, an outfit, or something nice.
