Solid Gold Sunday
My horoscope on Sunday said something about working way too hard lately and needing to socialize. It also mentioned that work could resume the next day, so stop being so hard on yourself.
So with that in mind...
my dear friends assisted me in many many joyful toasts and boxes of old 45's, and a nostalgia dance party that ended with Cynthia in the splits and me arriving back to my warm bed at 5:37 a.m.
these are my prized SOLID Gold boots that I scored in Miami when at the Art Basel. I promised myself if I sold some art I would buy them, for a mere $12 dollars SCORE
what other D.J. in town can take "You should hear how she talks about you" by Melissa Manchester and follow it up with the Thompson Twins, The Hooters, Rick Springfield and a New Edition breakdown? Did I mention the extended remixes by Howard Jones?
Weirdly enough the horoscope never mentioned that 6 intense hours of drinking,and dancing, diving onto your knees and spinning, and over 50 high David Lee Roth Kicks would result in sleeping til around 1 p.m. the following day.
P.S. the night ended with the entire Pretty in Pink Soundtrack. Nothing like a Smiths song to send you home
