Still cleaning, so I apologize for the lack of luscious posts. I promise that when this big remodel is done, there will be lots of great things to talk about.
sometimes when I look back at the paintings in my art vault from years and years ago, I can't remember what provoked me to make the work in the first place. I am getting rid of a lot of these blasts from the past on my etsy site: kimebuzzelli.etsy.com
5 or 6 of them sold earlier this week, so it seems they must have some appeal out there. Take into consideration that they are from a long time ago and that they have moved around my place many times. Some of them were created for the NICE and CRUDE art show I did at the L.A. Erotic Museum of ART in 2004.
This one had a little something to do with not putting up anymore with being taken for granted or advantage of. I remember thinking that these women needed to get a move on to a better place-

Things that secretly make me smile:
1. I have a fond fetish for jumpsuits. I have to admit that they are not an easy sell. It's hard to go to the bathroom quickly in a jumpsuit, but they make a hell of a statement.
A woman who wears a jumpsuit is practically shouting- "I'm not afraid to bulldoze you with my power".
ok, sure this may be too cute to exude ultimate superhero power, but it's got some magic mushrooms representing

2.) Up there on my favorite list: all clothes / accessories that seem to be torn from an art museum wall, or borrowed from the alley. Abstract artist collision with tribal prints. I think that my heart may have never left the 80's and that Basquiat may have manipulated the way I experience colors

if you have a sugar daddy or are simply compelled to purchase any of these fine printed dresses, score them at net-a-porter.com
otherwise feel free to look at them longingly at no cost here.
This weekend marked the first big debut for the Teenage Teardrops/FAMILY collaboration celebration on Echo pk. ave. They hosted a cool dinner event called BEAST FEAST featuring vegan food prepared by "CROPS and RAWBERS".
The tables were lined with candles and everyone got fancy.
Fran and I had a nice time.
Later Black Black played and christened the space
The next night was the gallery hop. Show Pony of course was still closed for remodel. Brandon and the HAN CHOLO boys had their new reality t.v. crew up and recording our every move. I can't wait til next month when we explode back on the scene
