Ok, so there is no free time in my world at the moment.
I am weary in the limbs and have been working like a mad woman. My poor kitties have become bitter and upset by my late hours and lack of care. Largent actually sat on top of my big duffel bag purse and peed in it! That was after an 18 hour work day trapped in traffic.
But the work itself is exciting and as soon as I can post more info I will!
I also wanted to post the birthday pics from my man mr. H's photo cake I helped create.
Super cool huh?
Mr. H has a fascination with "Bigfoot". Let's just say that he is Sasquatch expert and knows that a diet of berries and fish is ideal.
Since this birthday night- I have been working almost non-stop on a new t.v. show. It's gonna be a fun filled hustle but as soon as things settle down a bit I will post more
Needless to say (by my sad lack of posting) I have been working since June 12th non stop. I am not even exaggerating...13-18 hours a day= SEVEN days a week. Clothes clothes and more clothes. Sort of a fun and exhausting
Lovely patterns and prints floating in my eyes even after the lights are down. I am like Yayoi Kusama with dot vision.
My boyfriend hardly remembers my name, and georgie boy is bumming to the max. He has the saddest crabby expression when I am waking up at the break of dawn to leave is starting to have abandonment issues, ha.
I really love the hustle though. I like solving fashion puzzles and this job allows me to rush out and try and find the missing magic pieces.
I will reveal more as time progresses, I promise. Wow, hope you are all doing FAB- and promise that when the dust settles a lil more I will get back to regular postings.
On this ending note I will post some pics that I like from recent editorials
First thing to start of the long weekend- VANS Shoes BOOK debut! The party was huge. Bands, pro skaters, FOOD galore, BMX tricks, art show and more. The history of VANS detailed in their new book (super rad covered in checkered canvas with a rubber sole stamp)
The voting is still going on for the logo contest so if you can pass on the word...VOTE here for mine
Lucky for me these guys were guarding my art piece, I wouldn't want anyone to damage it
Future heart breaker skater boys. You should've seen these kids in the ramp doing tricks. Either they have no fear of heights, or no fear of death.
this guy has the largest collection of VANS shoes and the last chapter of the book is dedicated to photos of it.
TMZ in the house!
models rocking the new looks
hot stuff = nikki +TAYLOR
This was followed by a FRIDAY night art auction for my pal Justin Van Hoy.
Justin is a super amazing guy (used to work for SWINDLE)- who recently had to deal with a cancer relapse. He is home now and doing better thanks to a bone marrow donor. The folks at POKETO arranged an art auction to raise some money to help buffer the costs of hospital care and help Justin and his wife.
Lots of incredible artists donated work for the event, and they were able to raise $11,000!!!
On Saturday the folks at CHANGO held a neighborhood art show downstairs. The show features a bunch of coffee regulars and people who live in the area/building. the first 4 of these pics were taken by taylor brittenham
This painted jacket is by Billie

This coming sunday- I am going to get a booth with little miss emma. We are really cleaning out the closets to make room for back to school fashions. Well, she is going to back to school...I just need space and new frocks.
I am seriously getting rid of some crazy stuff, so if you love accessories and stylist strange things- come and visit us over the bridge this sunday on the vintage clothes side.
by the way...for those of you Georgie Boy fans- I forgot to post the photo from his birthday bash. Vinca came over for a visit and to celebrate GB's big two year bday with us. (he is really 10, but we didn't remind him)
It is hard to imagine that she left the world so young. I absolutely adore this last one of her reading on the bench in her bikini top.
These lovely black and white pictures of Miss Monroe were recently discovered. My friend Danielle told me about these hidden photo treasures today. I was obsessed when I was younger with Marilyn and still have tons of books on her. These fresh faced images were revealed on TODAY's website HERE
LIFE magazine recently discovered and released never-seen photographs of actress Marilyn Monroe. The images were captured by LIFE photographer Ed Clark in 1950 at Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
" photos were found when staffers were digitizing the magazine's photo archives, show Monroe as a carefree 24-year-old. Monroe died in 1962 after overdosing on barbituates. She would have been 83 years old this year."
I made a few paintings for my friend's new baby room. She is excited for the arrival of her first child (obviously a lil girl) and wanted me to make a few pieces inspired by vintage circus girls and trapeze acts. Fantasy colored animals and a dreamy palette! IT was so fun making artwork with a new little baby girl in mind. Plus her parents are both super creative souls who will no doubt surround their new darling with art, music and magic. Can't wait til she takes real pro pics of the baby art and room.
Yesterday's flea market in space 1520's courtyard was like a gypsy den commune packed with piles of colorful frocks and lovely ladies. The event was from 11 to 4 and featured various BLOGGERs and their wonderful stashes. Music from the d.j. duo Pony vs. Tiger poured down from the upper balcony. (those ladies have the greatest selection of favorite songs)
My pal Marcella read my fortune right before the event and splashed some "money" oil on me. Her reading was right on the money...and made me have a real "AHA" moment. She said that all of my new ideas are about to explode into something incredible.
here's some of my Flair stuffed into pretty cases
These cupcakes were staring at us from across the way- We later all split one- and scored the frosting recipe-
SCOUT'S piles were the hit of the day for all of the other bloggers. Everyone kneeling to worship all the glittery-tribal goodness hidden in there.
Cole made some tough new leggings and dance gear with pal mindy le brock
here's some more cases from my booth- I'm unloading my vintage dior sunglasses and lots of hippie gear
My pal Cassiel makes adorable baby leggings! She and her lil girl were the talk of the market. Everyone wanted to play with her new animal hoodie ears
I had to take a pic of Ivy and her super checkerboard nails and mega turquoise
