such cool other-worldly stuff. but i'm seriously not getting the stilts as shoes thing. as art object-put it on a pedestal maybe- but as something to walk in, no. I just don't understand. setting women back like centuries.

I'd like to think they were created as some sort of comical lovely torture device for models to sway in and potentially wipe out on the runway...just kidding

I love MARNI so much.. Galliano was rad and so was rad. The prints at McQueen were awesome but the shoes-i dunno.. i do love platforms but those were so weird!

I totally agree! They are getting carried away with these virtually impossible to balance on, much less strut in shoes! The models should NOT be blamed for slipping in these--some are so up-tilted it puts the foot practically "en pointe"! R-T-W? I don't think so. . .This is not a Cirque du Soleil contortionist display--will start binding the foot or removing ribs next?

Those shoes look just plain dangerous.

wow, gorgeous! i want to live in that world.

there is no way galliano created those girls without your work as inspiration! no way. no how.

i looove the mcqueen shoes. i want them! and yeah gaga totally would've been drooling. she got to debut a part of her new song for the end of the show.

O wow, these collections are amazing! I only wish I could have seen them actually walking down the catwalk in those big illusive tents in Bryant Park
