The Show Pony is going to be hosting an incredible TRUNK SHOW for Boudoir Queen on August 28th. That's a Thursday evening. The designer behind the line is Dawn Younger-Smith. She creates one of kind pieces from old 20's lingerie and clothing. The final pieces are decorated with darling rhinestones, pom-poms, lace, beads, and feathers.
According to her bio her history is colorful as a muse/makeup artist to stars.
She also modeled for the Famous Steven Arnold. (Who in the summer of 1976, helped Salvador DalĂ with the creation and opening of Teatro Museo Dali in Figueras, Spain.)
She has a team of fabulous seamstresses working for her including Antoinette Sales who has designed and made stage clothing for every rock star around. Client list includes Ron Wood(Rolling Stones), Tom Petty, Anthony Keidis (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Bangles, The Go-Go's, Dwight Yoakam, Cheap Trick ,Johnny Cash, Charlie Sexton, Pete Townsend (The Who), Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, Freddy Mercury (Queen) and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. The list goes on and on! Both Antoinette and Dawn have Rock Star Spouses which have inspired them . Antoinette's ex husband Hunt Sales world renowned drummer . Known for his work with Iggy Pop, Todd Rungren and Tin Machine(David Bowie). Dawn's husband rocker Mark Younger-Smith was Billy Idols Guitarist for nine years. He also played for Joe Cocker, Charlie Sexton, Patti Smith and wrote songs with INXS.
