It's always a super feeling of relief when you get to see the last amazing episode of the T.V. show you work on finally hit the screen. All those long hours trying to make things last minute, getting the right sizes, getting everyone dressed for camera...then being able to watch every departments hard work come together. This last season was full of parties, trips, and amazing locations. One of the best moments this season was being down on the coastline near Palos Verdes, watching the sun hit the stunning scenery, colorful chiffons floating in the wind, and a real live elephant walking by.
The last days of shooting are always bittersweet, most of us on the crew are exhausted and yet ecstatic to see all of this drama enfold. This particular day was beyond surreal. Gillian Zinser looked absolutely stunning. She was a real trooper wearing this elaborate (and heavy!) beaded Indian outfit.
The day before shooting was not void of drama either... my awesome crew stayed in the office gathering all of the background clothes, loading the truck, finishing alterations and creating two dresses for Naomi Clark. We had fallen in love with a vintage DIOR Indian inspired cocktail dress, but were unable to use it because we needed two dresses for the actress. With the help of my genius seamstress Seda, we took some gorgeous Indian silk fabric and made a "Naomi" like modern design. Watching her dance around the beach in that dress was worth all the long hours!
Here's the original DIOR one we had fallen in love with...
And here's the robin egg blue green one that she wears
Did I mention that Miss Annalynne McCord could wear a paper bag and would still look stunning? She can enter the dressing room minus makeup and still work the model poses and sell any dress.
Manish (Raj) and director Mrs. Sinclair party down on the last days of shooting!
gorgeous Shenae Grimes (Annie) laying in the grass in between takes
Michael Steger got some babysitting practice on set the last day. He was a real natural with the director's daughter.
I always get a little choked up on the last days of shooting. You work so many hours on set with these people (crew & actors) that they become your close knit family. As the scenes start to roll, and eventually wrap...and each individual actor completes their season, the director and crew will announce- "Ladies and gentleman...that is a wrap for _Mr/Miss________ for season 3 90210" And perhaps it's my lack of sleep at that point which makes me so nostalgic as they shoot their final scene and everyone claps for each actor as they set off for hiatus. It has been a really magical season, and I can't wait to watch the final episode tonight!
That Dior dress is to die for.
I have a huge weakness for Indian-inspired prints and chintzy gold... it looked so dreamy!

I just watched the episode - it brought tears to my eyes! Something about weddings. The scene with everyone coming up the hill dancing was soooo beautiful. You guys really did a bang up job on the costumes!

hey there!
The dress Annie wore was by designer Nanette Lepore, Silver is wearing a cool orange VENA CAVA dress, with vintage sequin shrug and Naomi's dress was designed by me with the help of my amazing seamstress Seda. Ivy's dress was from am amazing couture wedding shop in little India ( Artesia) We changed a few things to make it a little more modern. Ade was wearing McGinn? spelling? I loved when all the ladies walked out of the tent together. xo

I've got my leavers ball (prom in england) coming up and the moment I saw that dress on Naomi I knew after months of deliberating that that was the dress I wanted to wear to it. However I find out it was made especially for her! I think it's incredible and you've done an amazing job on it I'm just so jealous that I can't get hold of it! Nothing as authentic as that in the sari-inspired fashion world out there.

This episode was really amazing and the outfits were stunning!!! I was wondering if you knew where I could find the white/beige/ivory strapless dress that Annie wore in season 3 episode 21?? I am hoping to wear it for my graduation. Here's the link to what it looks like: http://findthatstyle.com/scene/30359.
I'd really appreciate it. :)
Once again fabulous job!!!

HEllo Tess!
We actually made Naomi's dress from fabric we bought at MOOD...from scratch but we are trying to have that exact dress recreated for fans with BEBE's 90210 Collaboration this Holiday season. I will definitely keep you all posted. XO

I'm consistently impressed with the fashion on 90210, and right now I'm desperate to know about Ivy's blue dress in the Thanksgiving episode -- I'm in love with it! Can you tell me about it? Thanks!
